Splish Splash

This is one of my favorite blur pictures. Instead of doing the facet with running water I threw a bucket of water, visible in the corner of the pic, into my family's fountain. My mom did an excellent job of taking the photo at the correct moment because it turned out perfect. I love that the water it still falling and you can see the peaks and falls clearly.

Go Pack Go!

Running out of ideas to blur, I grabbed my Green Bay Packer team flag and waved it to have a still face in the background while also producing the blurred foreground of a flag. I like that you can still make out the details of the flag.

Spinning Along

For the blur project I had my mom take a most of the picture of me doing something to create a blurred image. In this photo I hopped on a stationary bike and pedaled to produce the shaky image of my calf.

Dogs in Shining Armor

Here is my first multiple exposure print from my roll of film. I didn't keep track of which photos I took in which order the first time running through my film so that when I developed I would be surprised, and just maybe, I would end up with a really creative picture. On the very bottom of the picture you can see a tray of Cheerios that spell out my name, which are featured in another multiple exposure picture. While I was putting the Cheerios together my dog Sumi would not stop getting in the way, trying to sniff and eat them, which, in turn, inspired this photo. I laid the tray down and managed to get her to sit next to them and somewhat look at the camera. On the next layer I just took a photo of these old knight pictures my mom found in the garage. I like that even though I didn't line the rolls up perfectly the overlying pictures didn't exactly cover up one another; I like that you can see every subject in the photo and the details in each.

Flash from the Past

While going through all of the photos I have developed over the course of one semester I found this photo from the very first roll of film we took. I stood under a tree in my neighborhood and pointed the camera up to capture the branches with a little glimpse of light shining through. I like how you can make out extreme detail in the tree's branches and moss. 

Floating Along

Trying to be a little more creative with my pictures I tried to capture myself floating in the pool. I had a friend take the picture and it turned out well, in my opinion. My favorite part of the photo is how you can see the water ripple on the left side. I also like how the water allows my hair to float on the surface, fanning out and engulfing the photo, in a squid like fashion.

Driving By

In this self portrait I focused and set the shutter speed and aperture for the camera and then had my mom take the picture. Unfortunately, my face it a bit hard to make out in the car because of the tree's reflection that appears in the windows. The day I took this picture was a raining one, and I like how if you look closely in the background you can see that water, as it almost appears wave like.
